Students and Staff

Information for Potential Students and Staff

In order to perform our research, a team of students and staff work together to collect, analyze and disseminate our findings. Explore who is currently on Our Team or who has worked with us in the past.

Undergraduate Students

Our laboratory provides a great opportunity to expose undergraduate students to biomedical research and all that is involved in performing these types of studies. Our undergraduates can come from any department on campus and work volunteering their time around their academic schedules. Independent study credits are available. The earlier students can get involved, the more experiences they are likely to have. Please email us if you are interested with your name, major, contact information and year in school.

Graduate Students

A graduate degree from Colorado State University has served many of our alumni well. Students in the lab typically are pursuing a PhD from the Health and Exercise Science Program, or a Master’s degree in our home department. Due to Dr. Dinenno’s joint appointments, students from Biomedical Sciences or the School of Biomedical Engineering can also complete their graduate research in our laboratory.

The availability of graduate positions in the lab is dependent on a variety of factors including current personnel, funding, and projects. Key to the success of students and the lab is a good mutual fit. If you are interested in pursuing your graduate studies with us, explore the links above for the necessary requirements, as well as the rest of this our site to learn more about us. After doing so, if you think our lab may be for you, email us if you are interested with your name, contact information, which program you are interested in, and curriculum vitae.

Postdoctoral Fellows

Advanced research training for those who already hold a doctoral degree may be available. Postdoctoral fellows provide additional skills and techniques that can assist in keeping the laboratory on the leading front of integrative cardiovascular research. If you are interested in a postdoctoral position, please contact Dr. Dinenno directly.

Various staff positions may be available during the academic school year or in the summer months. When this occurs, more information will be available here. Other positions in the department or the university may also suit your interests.
